All of VP's tried and true reconstruction styles are slim-fitting, with a slightly contoured waist and fitted sleeves. Because they are made out of jersey (tee shirt material) there will be a good amount of stretch which makes them comfortable for most body types.

PLEASE NOTE! These measurements are applicable where the original shirt is a standard guy's tee that is new, unwashed and at least one size larger than the size of the top you have ordered. Vintage or used shirts that have shrunk in the wash, girlie or junior sized tees, and tissue tees may not produce the measurements listed. For example, a vintage XL tee will not make an XL top. If you have any questions please contact VP prior to placing your order.

If you fall between two sizes you can request a different size for the chest and waist (i.e. Large chest, Medium waist), which VP will gladly accommodate. To do so simply check out with the chest measurement and leave a comment with your order regarding the different waist measurement.

Standard sizes are shown in green. Petite and Tall sizes affect the sleeve and length measurements as noted, while chest and waist remain the same as standard. Length measurements are taken from the shoulder seam at the neck. Sleeve measurements are taken from the shoulder seam to the hem end of the sleeve. Bust/chest measurement is taken pit to pit. Hip measurement is identical to the chest measurement.

PLEASE take a careful look at the measurements, since your custom piece is not returnable. To get an idea of how these sizes will fit you VP recommends that you compare these measurements to those of a favorite tee, laid out flat.
