Here's some important information about your custom order. Please read it carefully:

Designing your order:

When putting together your order the most important thing is for you to choose a tee that works well with the style you want. Here are a few suggested guidelines to insure your order comes out as awesome as possible:

A zipper will take away almost an inch from the center of the design. If the tee you choose has very thin or small text the zipper will make some of the letters disappear. Another thing to consider is band photo tees - whomever is in the middle might get their face chopped in two.

If you choose a tee with a very large graphic there is a chance some of the print will be lost around the sleeves and/or bottom, especially if you order a Small. We think this is all part of the inherent coolness of DIY but if you're into that store bought look you'll want to opt for a smaller graphic.

Accent fabrics are best used to highlight the print on your tee, as opposed to the actual tee shirt color. It is extremely difficult to match a colored tee shirt with other jersey fabric.

VP only uses black thread for both seams and top stitching, even on white or colored shirts/trim. We love the way this turns the stitching into a decorative accent. If you don't want to see the stitching you should choose to use a black shirt and black trim.

Choosing your size:

Each style is made with a contoured, slim fit cut. Similar to a junior or babydoll style tee this style flatters every body type, provided that you order the correct size for your frame. Please check our sizing chart for detailed measurements.

Since your piece will be made custom VP can accommodate most sizing adjustments so you can have the best fit possible. You can add width or length and can choose a split size, (e.g. Large chest, Medium waist). Be sure to add your request in the Comment section when you check out. Email us if you have any questions.

Turnaround time:

Once your shirt arrives and your payment has cleared your order will go in the processing queue. Depending on how many orders are ahead of yours it can take anywhere from 7-21 days to complete your order, although on average most orders are done within 10-14 days. Bondage style hoodies generally take the longest, due to the amount of detail.

You will be updated by email when your order goes in the processing queue, as well as when it ships out. Be sure to add vp@victoriouspirate.com to your address book so updates are not lost in your spam folder.

We try to get all orders out as soon as possible. If you are planning an order as a gift it is advised to order as far in advance as you are able.

Materials and allergy info:

Your custom piece will be professionally reconstructed in VP's pet-free and smoke-free workshop. The shirts are not washed before they are reconstructed so you might want to wash your new top before wearing.

We use all new fabrics in the construction of your piece. Sleeves, hoods and/or trim are made from 100% cotton black jersey, unless you select alternate or additional colors in your order.

We use black and aluminum heavy duty YKK zippers for zip hoodies. All bondage/D rings are stainless steel. We use exclusively black thread for both serging and top stitching/hemming.
