VP is super excited to make your custom reconstruction! For some first time customers the process can seem a little complicated. In reality, ordering from VP is just like ordering from any online store, with the additional step of sending a tee to be reworked.
Placing your order:
The Shop box to your left contains all available reconstruction styles. Once you find a style you like, select your size and options and add it to your cart. A link to the sizing chart can be found on every product page, as well as in the Links box to your right.
When you are ready to check out you will be asked to create an account. You may then go through the checkout process. There will be a comment box where you can leave any special instructions, such as a size request, or if you know what tee you'll be sending. When the process is complete you will receive a confirmation email.
Sending a tee:
If you already own the tee you want VP to rework just pack it on up with a copy of your email confirmation and send it off to:
Victorious Pirate
30-35 49th St
Astoria, NY 11103
If you are ordering the tee you can have it sent straight to VP. Please have both Victorious Pirate and your name on the mailing label like this:

Choosing a tee:
Ah, now the the fun part! Here are a few tidbits of info which will help you get the best possible result.
The graphic content of the tee is not important. It can be a band tee, work tee, novelty tee or anything you would like VP to work with.
The color of the tee is not important, HOWEVER because 95% of reconstruction are black tees VP only uses black fabric and thread. Since most colored tees have some black print it actually looks great with the contrast stitching and trim.
The size of the printed area on the tee is somewhat important. Most graphics work perfectly well with most styles. If the print is bigger than or exceeds the shape of a reconstruction it has to be trimmed off so be aware of this when sending a tee with an extra large, very high or very low print area. Additionally, a zipper will remove 1" from the center of the print which is mostly an issue with faces or very small print.
The size of the tee is VERY important. For the best possible outcome it should be too big for you. A men's XL is generally recommended.
